Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff who promptly seated us at the bar. Little did I know that I would soon be sporting a few stains on my white shirt, courtesy of the messy but delicious crawfish feast ahead! The atmosphere was bustling, with a lively vibe and plenty of locals enjoying their meals.

To make sure we stayed connected during our meal, we asked our waitress if they had internet access. To our surprise, one of the staff members offered to hotspot her own phone so we could order an Uber taxi when it was time to leave. This kind of hospitality is truly exceptional!

Before our meal arrived, we were given a plastic sheet to cover the bar and provided with plastic aprons and buckets to collect the shells from our seafood extravaganza. My husband was a bit apprehensive about the experience at first, but he soon discovered why Red Claws Crab Shack is so popular.

Our friendly waitress recommended our choice of shrimps (king prawns), crawfish, and crab, accompanied by corn and sausage. We couldn't believe how delicious everything was! As an added bonus, we chatted with some of the locals and bar staff who offered us insider tips on what to order and which dishes were a must-try.

As tourists from England on a road trip through Deep South America, visiting Red Claws Crab Shack was at the top of our bucket list. And thanks to Google's top ten crab shack recommendations, we happened to be in the right place at the right time!
